The North Wales Burlesque & Cabaret Festival will be moving to the seaside village of Llanfairfechan in 2021, which will allow us to grow the event in new and exciting ways.
The new venue can be found at: Village Rd, Llanfairfechan, LL33 0AB.
Getting to the village:
  • Road: the A55 will take you straight there.
  • Train: the village has its own train station on the same line as Colwyn Bay.
  • Plane: you'll need to fly to Manchester Airport then get the train from the airport to Llanfairfechan. You will probably need to change at Chester.
Places to stay:
  • We are currently working with local businesses to find you the best places to stay in Llanfairfechan. Once we have more info you'll find it here.

Applications are now open to be part of the next Seren Yn Codi / Rising Star competition.
Things to consider before applying:
  • Acts must be under two-years-old to qualify, although performers can have any level of experience.
  • To enter we will need you to send us a video of the act. This doesn't have to be performance footage with an audience, but we do want to see the act in its entirety. The video also needs to be a single shot from a stationary camera with no edits.
  • If you are successful in the first round you will be invited to perform live in the Semi Final on the 7th November 2020 at the Comrades Club in Conwy.
  • The Grand Final will be held on the 29th January 2021 at the Community Hall in Llanfairfechan.
If you'd like to apply please upload your video to YouTube and email us a link to it at
The deadline for applications is July 31st 2020. We will announce the semi-finalists on the 1st September 2020.
